Abstract

Experimentation, flavors, and the ability to use substances in a concealed manner are some of the common reasons why electronic vaping devices (EVDs) are shown to have gained popularity among youth. However, it seems like the tip of the iceberg. Similar to any other substance use disorder, the etiology behind the widespread EVD use is supposed to be multifactorial. This presentation aims to inform the audience about the predictors and risk factors behind the initiation and continuation of EVD use among youth.
