66.2 PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC INTERVENTIONS FOR ADHD: LESSONS FROM THE SUMMER PROGRAM FOR KIDS (SPK)

Abstract

The objectives of this presentation are: 1) to review the literature on behavioral interventions, including parent training, for the treatment of ADHD; 2) to describe a specific comprehensive behavioral treatment intervention strategy, a summer camp—the Summer Program for Kids (SPK)—that addresses ADHD symptoms; and 3) to extrapolate findings from the SPK to general clinical practice with children with ADHD and their families.
