Abstract
Traditional pediatric intensive outpatient programs (IOPs) offer individual and group treatment for mental health. However, due to systematic barriers, IOPs do not always utilize family- and evidence-based treatments for pediatric depression and anxiety. The IOP at Meriter Unity Point Health in Madison, Wisconsin focuses on delivery of evidence-based interventions for depression and anxiety for the entire family through a multidisciplinary approach that is also financially sustainable and equitable.
