Abstract

Trismus refers to the restriction of the range of motion of the jaw and functionally limiting and posed significant challenge in patient’s day-to-day function and quality of life. Extra-articular and intra-articular causes of trismus have been described in literature. We present a rare and unusual and previously unreported case of bilateral maxillary third molars causing limitation of mouth opening and jaw function.
