Abstract
RV dysfunction, the sildenafil group had a similar duration of milrinone support (16.3 13.7 days vs 16.4 13.0 days, P 0.32) to the group that did not receive sildenafil, and a similar length of hospital stay post LVAD implantation (27.4 15.9 days vs 27.4 16.2 days, P 0.47). Conclusions: Prospective studies are warranted to evaluate the use of sildenafil in patients with severe RV dysfunction post LVAD implantation.
