Abstract

Recently, the vibro-acoustic systems are often analyzed in strongly coupled conditions in order to investigate the structure modification for the noise reduction. Therefore, the precision for the vibro-acoustic coupled analysis need to be assured. This study predicts the dynamic properties of a vibro-acoustic system by FEM analysis, and verifies the estimated properties by conducting the experiment. A simple vibro-acoustic system imitating the car cabin is set up, and experimental modal analysis is conducted by the impact hammer excitation. The experimentally acquired dynamic properties are compared with the numerical analysis by FEM.
