Abstract

In regenerative thermal oxidizer for gases including volatile organic compounds (VOC) that are harmful to the being and the environment etc., the new regenerative components using the laminated lath plates are applied. Lath plate type regenerator was used because of enhanced heat transfer, and its heat transfer and pressure drop were measured by means of single blow method and digital manometer. Temporal thermal storage performances by effects of inlet and exit fluid temperature variation were also measured by the method, and specified radiation start time from lath plate type regenerator.
