Abstract
The evolution processes of dislocations are simulated by discretizing dislocation lines into dislocation segments. First, it is confirmed that the dislocation multiplication by the Frank-Read mechanism under the external shear stress is realized. Second, the critical thicknesses of heteroepitaxial films are estimated by considering the nucleaition and extension of dislocation half-loops.
