Abstract
An analytical model for the pressure transducer system, which consists of the working fluid, the measuring plate (or membrane) and the backward cavity, is obtained on the basis of the concept of the radiation impedance, the impedance of piston and the cavity impedance. Several frequency responses using this model are also shown. Especially, effects of back pressure (the pressure in closed cavity or in cavity with an opening) on the dynamic characteristics of pressure transducer system are considered.
