Abstract
Trends in military and civilian communication systems lead to the increasing use of millimeter wave frequencies. Alcatel Telspace is developping millimeter wave techniques to make a prototype of communication link operating in the oxygen absorption band near 60 GHz, leading to the successfull design and manufacturing of millimeter wave subunits: stable frequency sources and non preamplified receiver front end.
