Abstract

Construction of subtractive color reflective displays depends on low‐loss, reflective, layered cyan, magenta and yellow display panels. This means the image planes of the primary colors have a slight displacement in the direction of view, which may cause artefacts and may influence the ease of viewing. These artefacts are demonstrated and discussed.
