6 voces en 10 minutos: Aspectos psicosociales y adulto mayorTrabajo ansiedad en diabetes mellitusMás de la mitad de los pacientes con diabetes mellitus tipo 2 (DM2) presenta ansiedad y/o depresión. Aquellos con complicaciones macrovasculares manifiestan más ansiedad, no así los que tienen complicaciones microvasculares.Los niveles anormales de ansiedad son predictores de mala calidad en DM2. La ansiedad tiene una relación directa con mayor edad, estado civil casado, convivir con varios cohabitantes, el sedentarismo y la baja educación. Los pacientes con DM2 insulinizados tienen una menor calidad de vida, capacidad funcional y de socialización.
