Abstract

At the end of 2014, the PCA was acting as registry in six inter-state arbitrations, fifty-three investor-state arbitrations, and thirty-six other arbitrations. Out of these, three cases involved environmental issues. These were: (1) the Arbitration between the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Slovenia Relating to Territorial and Maritime Issues; (2) the Republic of Mauritius v the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland; and (3) the Republic of the Philippines v the People’s Republic of China.
