6-Amino-5,5-diisopropyl-5H-pyrimidine-2,4-dione hemihydrate

Abstract

In the title compound, C10H17N3O2·0.5H2O, two 6-amino-5,5-diiso­propyl-5H-pyrimidine-2,4-dione mol­ecules and one mol­ecule of water constitute the asymmetric unit in space group P\overline 1. One mol­ecule forms a one-dimensional hydrogen-bonded chain; the chains are cross-linked by hydrogen bonds to the second mol­ecule and the water mol­ecule.
