Abstract
The goals of this presentation are to review the literature in a systematic way using previously published guidelines and identify factors associated with psychiatric disorders and psychopathology in children with epilepsy (CWE). Factors included the following: 1) child variables—gender, age, and IQ; 2) epilepsy—seizure frequency (sz freq), epilepsy syndrome, and age of onset of epilepsy; and 3) environmental—socioeconomic status (SES).
