Abstract
We implement a time-sequential autostereoscopic display with a multidirectional backlight system and an eye tracker. The proposed multidirectional backlight uses Bragg mismatched reconstruction of volume-holographic optical elements. The eye tracker feeds back eye positions, and the system provides directional and time-sequential parallax images. Through this display, viewers could observe vivid three-dimensional images with high resolution, low crosstalk, and smooth motion parallax.
