Abstract

This article provides a special type of multilevel inverter called Transistor clamped H Bridge (TCHB) inverter which is utilized to develop a special type of Demand side management device called Electric spring (ES) which will provide voltage stability to the critical load under intermittent/oscillating nature of renewable energy sources. The main aim of using TCHB as ES is to make the ES provide voltage stability to critical load for reduced size, %THD, Input power required. Simulation has been performed by using MATLAB/Simulink Software and the performance results of TCHB based ES has been presented
