Abstract

Based on 5G new technology, smart power plant takes advantage of 5G's characteristics of large bandwidth, low delay, large connection, and anti-interference to build a full coverage Internet of things in complex environment of power plant. Firstly, this paper analyzes 14 typical services of smart power plant, and summarizes their communication requirements. Secondly, the private network architecture and multi service slicing scheme of 5G smart power plant are proposed. Then, based on the theoretical analysis and test results, the performance of 5G system with different frequencies is compared. Finally, based on the indoor and outdoor co frequency test results, this paper demonstrates the feasibility of CO frequency networking of 5G system in smart power plant. The research results of this paper are helpful to promote the application of 5G technology in smart grid. Improve the intelligent management and operation ability of power grid enterprises, and enhance the comprehensive ability of power plant safety monitoring and intelligent diagnosis.
