58 Mesonephric adenocarcinoma of the cervix with focal endometrioid adenocarcinoma of the uterus

Abstract

Introduction: Mesonephric carcinoma is a rare tumor of the female genital tract and is mostly located in the uterine cervix. The tumor has an aggressive clinical pattern, and due to its rarity, a standard attitude towards its management has not been established yet. Case presentation: We report a 49-year old patient who presented with cervical mass and abnormal uterine bleeding. Radical hysterectomy with bilateral salphingoopherectomy, pelvic and paraaortic lymphadenectomy and omentectomy was performed.
