Abstract
AbstractWe have developed a new backlight system that uses a laser diode for one of the light sources. This backlight system uses two kinds of light source. One is a red laser diode and the other is a cyan LED. The liquid crystal television display equipped with this particular backlight system has vivid colors that can be recognized at first glance.
