Abstract

Background: Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) generally occurs in men, mainly related to smoking. However, the main risk factors of female nonsmoking patients with small cell cancer are unknown. This study aims to explore the clinical characteristics of female SCLC and the influence of two major risk factors: smoking and long-term second-hand smoke inhalation on the disease.
