Abstract

An 808 nm diode-pumped Cr4+:YAG Q-switched intracavity LBO sum-frequency Raman laser is experimentally studied. In this laser, a c-cut Nd:GdVO 4 crystal is used as the self-Raman medium, and a c-cut Nd:YVO4 crystal is only used as the Raman medium. Simultaneous pulse oscillation of first-Stokes lights at 1176, 1177 and 1096 nm is realized. 67 mW average output power at 568 nm is obtained through sum-frequency-mixing 1176/1177 nm light with 1096 nm light in LBO at the incident pump power of 5.09 W.
