Abstract

Dynamic load applied to human body as daily activities like walking and jumping. In this study, finite element simulations were performed to investigate the impact transmission mechanism in knee joint. Two kind of finite element were prepared which were assumed standing and flexion condition. In the result, it was revealed that the medial and lateral ligaments have support function to restraint femoral displacement during the heavy impact and that the medial displacement decreased related to flexion angle.
