Abstract

Liquid crystal(LC) lenses are widely applied in three‐dimensional(3D) display, augmented reality/virtual reality (AR/VR) and machine vision system due to the advantages of electrical controllability and high flexibility. However, LC lenticular display technology is limited by the material characteristics of LC materials, because it is difficult to overcome the shortcomings of low resolution and high crosstalk at the same time. In this paper, a phase distribution optimization scheme based on the neural network is proposed, which may realizes the complex phase distribution of LC lens through machine learning and improve the optical properties of lenticular 3D display technology.lujg@sjtu.edu.cn
