Abstract

Pharmacologic treatment is an important component of the treatment of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). The medication quantification scale III (MQS III) is a validated measure to quantify the detriment (risk) of a patient’s medication regimen developed from a survey of pain medicine physicians. This retrospective study investigated whether treatment of CRPS in a comprehensive interdisciplinary pain management program would result in reduction in medication regimen detriment score as measured by the MQS III.
