Abstract

AbstractThe effects of a bi‐ocular type of head‐mounted display (HMD) were studied as compared with TV when adult and children watched a movie. The effects of repeated use over 6 months by children were also studied. Some users who had weak fusional vergence or low accommodative convergence reported symptom(s) after HMD‐use, but users were generally as comfortable using the HMD as they were viewing TV.
