Abstract
The goal of this session is to educate participants on the topic of therapist self-disclosure (TSD) with adolescents. The pivotal developmental and other considerations that impact TSD occurrences and decision making will be addressed. Review of the evidence base and clinical material will address the different ways in which therapists self-disclose as well as the indications, benefits, and risks of such disclosures with adolescents.
