Abstract
Infection/inflammation after Premature Rupture of the Membranes (PROM) is one of the most important complications to avoid. However, the results of usual tests may take days and often are not available in time for clinical decisions. The aim of this study was to compare the results of repetitive screening with the immunochromatographic bedside test to detect IL-6 and IL-8 in vaginal secretions after PROM with the results of ELISA tests.
