Abstract

Introduction: The effect of pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokines on coronary atheroslerosis is complex. Especially their exact role on high-risk plaque morphology is not well understood. Thus, we analyzed the association of pro- and anti-inflammatory serum biomarkers and high-risk coronary plaque features as identified by coronary CT angiography.
