Abstract

We are presenting the case of an 80-year-old male patient who was referred to our Clinic for the presence of a hyperpigmented polymorphic lesion, with color variegation and irregular borders, with some gray areas signifying regression, having large dimensions, slightly palpable, located on the scalp, evolving for about 8 months. Punch biopsy was performed in the most suspicious area and histopathological examination revealed melanoma in situ, reason why plastic surgery consultation was recommended in order to establish the appropriate surgical option.
