Abstract

This paper describes the generation of the arbitrary phase difference between self-excited oscillators in mutual entrainment. We used the self-excited oscillators, of which amplitude was controlled by variable velocity feedback gain. The self-excited oscillators which vibrate at the respective natural frequency are entrained in the same frequency by synchronous control force which is the sum of the signals proportional to the velocity and the displacement of the adjoining self-excitation oscillators. In this mutual entrainment phenomenon, arbitrary phase difference is generable by giving suitably the gain about velocity, and the gain about displacement.
