Abstract

Pulmonary capillaritis has been described in adult lung transplant recipients as a possible form of acute humoral rejection. Capillaritis has not been described in young children following lung transplantation. We prospectively performed immunohistochemical stains on allograft biopsy specimens from infant and adult lung transplant recipients to identify evidence of capillaritis/ humoral rejection.
