Abstract
A two‐domain quarter‐wave retarder is employed as one layer of the circular polarizer to compensate for the retardation dependent on the incident angles. The reflective color differences of the panel between normal and oblique directions can be completely eliminated in an ambient light environment because of the effects of the multi‐domain retarder.
