5. Th E Beginning Or Origin Of Time

Abstract

This chapter features the new Craftsman with his new lightning bolts. It also features contemporary philosophy, science and religion. It examines the dot universe from which time arose fits treatises of quantum cosmology no less than the mystical vision of William Blake who reminded us that “Men forget that/All deities reside in the human breast.” The reasoning of the chapter is based on the hierarchical theory of time, a theorem in the natural philosophy of time. The history of the universe, as seen in physical cosmology, demonstrates the emergence of increasingly more complex modes of causation. The chapter identifies the major steps in the evolution of causation during the history of the cosmos. Not only in narrative cosmologies but also in the formal reasoning of philosophy, the idea of a beginning of time had a beginning.
