Abstract
Aquaculture compound feeds usually follow the same regulatory aspects as livestock and pet feed. This chapter provides a general overview of existing animal compound feed regulation as well as voluntary feed schemes and standards addressing issues beyond good manufacturing practices. Legislative regulation for animal feed manufacturing in the USA and European Union, voluntary animal feed and ingredient manufacturing standards, aquaculture feed standards, organic feed standards, as well as future trends are discussed.
