Abstract

A review of modern methods for joint analysis and inversion of geophysical data is presented. Alternative options are considered based on simultaneous and interactive inversion of different types of data as well as on posterior analysis of the results of single data inversions. Advantages and drawbacks of different methods are compared based on characteristic cases. Recommendations on their application in practice are given.
