Abstract

Long-acting injectable antipsychotic (LAIA) drugs are approved by the European Medication Agency for the treatment of schizophrenia in adults. Nevertheless, clinicians everywhere have been gathering experiences on the off-label use of these medications in children, adolescents, and young adults and in different disorders. The main aim was to analyze the indications and patterns of prescription of LAIA drugs in children, adolescents, and young adults from a naturalistic clinical sample group.
