Abstract
AbstractWe measured the spatiotemporal wall charge distributions on sustain and address electrodes in an ac PDP cell using the longitudinal electro‐optic amplitude modulation method. The measured wall charge distributions are used together with the discharge images obtained using high speed, image intensified CCD camera to have a better understanding on the sustain as well as the address discharge occurring in a three electrodes, coplanar sustain discharge type ac PDP cell.
