490 Assessing The Impact Of Non-Calcific Volume On True-severe AS Severity Relative To Aortic Valve Calcium Score And Dobutamine Stress Echocardiography

Abstract

Introduction: Currently, AS severity is measured using the agatston method resulting in an AVCS score that is compared to sex-dependent cutoffs for a diagnosis of true severe AS. Research into false negatives for a true severe AS evaluation due to leaflet thickness has yet to be explored. We analyzed calcific and leaflet volumes in patients demonstrating low flow, low gradient aortic stenosis with an AVCS score and DSE conclusion.
