Abstract

E‐paper is an important candidate for ultra‐low‐power display of IoT environments. However, the switching speed and driving voltage are factors hindering E‐paper's prevailing. Here, we demonstrated using LC and viscosity modifier to simultaneously double the switching speed and cut down the driving voltage to half; meanwhile, the e‐paper still sustained the same contrast and bistability. This concept may pave a new route for future E‐ink research and production.
