Abstract

AbstractThe electro‐optic response times of the principal LCD modes are not fast enough for video applications. Applying a one‐frame acceleration voltage, in lieu of the correct video command, can compensate the slow response time. This paper discusses the operation and design choices of a timing controller with an embedded LCD response time compensator (RTC).
