Abstract

Delaying the start of cyclosporine in cardiac allograft recipients with basiliximab induction improves early post-transplant creatinine levels. We analyzed our institution’s experience with basiliximab in order to investigate its effects on post-transplant renal function, freedom from acute rejection, and survival.
