Abstract

Aims of the study: To evaluate the impact of manual rotation at full dilation of posterior varieties on the rate of spontaneous vaginal delivery. Methods: In an open, single center, controlled and randomized trial on two parallel balanced groups at the Angers University Hospital in France, all patients over 18 years old with a singleton pregnancy, at a gestational age of 37 weeks or more, with a cephalic presentation, avec une analgésie péridurale and Following to ultrasound confirmation of posterior position at the start of second stage, were randomized either the manual rotation group or to the expectant management group.
