Abstract
This study analyzes the CF process reduction technology through BPS technology. BPS merged the BM and PS process into one step can reduce the process and enable raise the capacity of fab and reduce manufacturing cost. Due to the limitation of material and process, there are several types of BPS under development so far. We believe CS‐2 & I‐1 BPS could be the proper solution now. As well as the BPS material improvement continuously, we predict S‐3 BPS owing better design flexibility could become the best solution, especially on high resolution display.
