Abstract
Iatrogenic steroid-induced psychosis is a rare but serious adverse side effect seen largely in the adult population that less commonly affects children and adolescents. Given the significant amount of distress that steroid-induced psychosis causes patients, families, and treating physicians, recommendations are needed for effective management. A systematic review was conducted in the context of reporting a case of steroid-induced psychosis in a child aged 12 years.
