Abstract
AbstractIn this paper, we describe a novel multi‐touch LCD display architecture with hover sensing capability based on infrared sensor array. The proposed display architecture has an advantage over existing multi‐touch LCD displays in that it maintains a slim form‐factor of LCD displays without loss of a display quality while it is possible to sense multiple touches and hovers simultaneously.
