Abstract

Introduction: Right ventricle (RV) strain is a useful prognostic index in many cardiopulmonary conditions. However, the RV’s complex geometry complicates analysis of regional RV strain. We developed a novel method for simultaneously tracking three-dimensional (3D) left ventricle (LV) and RV strain from ECG-gated contrast cine computed tomography (cineCT).
