Abstract

Introduction: Patients suffering from genital prolapse and other disabled patients often experience sexual problems. They are rarely under the care of sexologists. Aim: To investigate what sexual problems are prevalent among women with disability and women with genital prolapse Method: Analysis of data from literature on sexual problems among women with disability and women with genital prolapse. Results and discussion: Disabled women have the right to gynecological and sexological care. Female genital prolapse, in particular pelvic prolapse with cysto- and rectocoele, constitutes a form of disability.
