Abstract

Obliterative airway disorder (OAD) is a major cause of allograft dysfunction after lung transplantation (LTx). Increased levels of calcium-binding S100 proteins have been recently detected in the bronchoalveolar fluid of patients with OAD after LTx. We sought to investigate the expression of S100A4 protein in an original humanized model of OAD.
