Abstract
Acculturation gaps often refer to the significant discrepancy between an immigrant parent and their children due to communication dysfunction and differential cultural values. Such gaps may turn into intergenerational conflicts during the pandemic when a family is packed in a cabin-fever household. Acculturation gaps have shown to be associated with depression and other mental health problems in adolescents of immigrant families. To address this, we introduce a digital theater program (DTP) as part of the initiatives from a co-op organization, Yale Compassionate Home, Action Together (CHATogether).
